Himachal Pradesh is a land of varied cultures and traditions. The state boasts of several languages the dialect and even the script for the same changes from region to region apart from the popular destinations there are places hidden deep in the valleys of Himalayas in the North Eastern part of the state. One of such places is Kinnaur a Tribal District of Himachal Pradesh which Borders Tibet. The Unique culture here is a blend of Hinduism and Buddhism which is practiced by majority residents of this tribal district. The main destinations here are Sangla Valley and Kalpa both are unique and offer delightful experience to all visitors. Our Itinerary is designed specially to introduce you to these unique and immensely beautiful destinations.

Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Delhi/Chandigarh to Shimla
Arrive in Delhi/Chandigarh Railway Station/Airport/ISBT and meet our representative. The Journey begins in a personal cab. Reach Shimla by Late Evening/Early Afternoon depending upon your pick up point. Check In Into your hotel the rest of the evening is at leisure. After Dinner overnight in Shimla

Day 2: Shimla to Chitkul
After breakfast we check out from the Hotel and head further north of Shimla towards Kinnaur. Destination today is Chitkul the 8 Hour Drive will take us through some of the popular hill stations of Kufri, Fagu & Narkanda offering panoramic views of Snow Capped Ranges of Dhauladhar, Pir Panjal and Greater Himalayas. We Descend from Narkanda to Valley floor and rest of the Journey is along the Satluj River till Karcham on the way the nerve biting Tranda Dhank will keep you on the edge of your seat and from Karcham till Sangla the road is narrow and a deep gorge will be all along the way with Baspa River flowing at the bottom of this gorge. Once we enter Sangla the Valley opens up and mesmerising views awaits us. We reach our Hotel and relax for the evening. Post Dinner overnight at Sangla/Chitkul Hotel

Day 3: Chitkul Sightseeing
After Breakfast we head out to explore this mesmerising paradise. Chitkul the First Indian Village at Indo Tibet Border offers beautiful views of Greater Himalayan Range. The Blend of Mountains is amazing with more of less Arid and Rocky Peaks on Right Bank of the river and green dense forest on the left bank of the river. The Houses and Temples are built in Traditional way and offer a unique insight into the culture of the region. After a day well spent in this paradise we head back to the Hotel and relax for the night.

Day 4: Chitkul to Kalpa
Our day begins post breakfast and we head back towards Sangla town. We will check out few more places here before heading towards Kalpa. We take the same route back to Karchham and take a Right from here to head towards Powari from where the ascent towards Kalpa Begins on the way we cross the District Head Quarters of Kinnaur the Town of Recong Peo and another 8 Kms from here lies the beautiful small village of Kalpa overlooking the Satluj valley and offers a panoramic view of Kinnaur Kailash Range and Holy Peak of Kinnaur Kailash which is one of the Panch Kailash and one of the three which lie in Himachal Pradesh is also known as the winter Home of Lord Shiva. Rest of the day is at leisure post dinner overnight at Kalpa.

Day 5: Kalpa Sightseeing
Post breakfast we head out for the sightseeing we first visit the famous View Point also known as Suicide Point is a shear vertical cliff overlooking the valley below and panoramic views of the Kinnaur Kailash Range. Later we visit the Kalpa Village and Temple. One can clearly see beautifully built houses here which are made in traditional building style. After Exploring the village we head back to the Hotel. Rest of the day is at Leisure. Post Dinner overnight at Kalpa

Day 6: Kalpa to Chandigarh/Delhi
After an early breakfast we head out towards Shimla. As the drive is long hence we start really early to reach Chandigarh by Late Evening or Delhi by Late Night. The trip ends with drop at either Chandigarh or Delhi as per your preference.
