Himachal Pradesh is also Known as “Dev Bhoomi” (Land of The Gods) and no wonder its true out of all the Holy Kailash Parvats Three are in Himachal Pradesh Namely Mani Mahesh Kailash, Shrikhand Mahadev & Kinnaur Kailash with all three having their own stories to tell with all three considered equally pious by Not Only Hindus but also the Buddhist’s in Kinnaur Region who take Kinnaur Kailash as a Holy Mountain. The Pilgrimage to all three Kailash is not easy with Shrikhand Mahadev being one of the Most Difficult of all. Shrikhand Mahadev is also known as Shikhar Kailash and the 75 Feet Tall Lingam is situated at an altitude of 18,570 Feet AMSL making this pilgrimage one of the toughest. The Pilgrimage is opened in the Month of July & August however during that duration there are lots of arrangements made for by the locals for facilitating the Pilgrims there are Langar (Free Meals) along with Shops selling edibles, Tents for stay. However we manage all these things on our own. The Trek takes you to some of the most beautiful Alpine Forests, Meadows & Valleys, lush green during that time and filled with hundreds of species of Alpine Flowers and Himalayan Fauna which can include rare Himalayan Birds and Mammals like Brown & Black Bears, Leopards and Snow Leopards in Higher Reaches, Himalayan Red Fox, Ibex, Musk Deer, Blue Sheep, Himalayan Thar and Many More. This Trek is not only spiritual but is full of nature and folklore with legends connecting to the times of Epic of Mahabharata. Kinnaur Kailash on the other hand is another one of the Kailash Parvats part of “Panch Kailash. The 6050 Meter High peak dominates the Skyline when seen from Kalpa. It is believe Lord Shiva and Mata Parvati Reside on this mountain and it is their Winter Abode. The Monolithic Shiv Lingam is an 80 Feet Tall rock at an altitude of 4800 Meters AMSL the Holy Pilgrimage takes devotees to this point offering spending views of the valley below and mountains of Himalayan Ranges along with the Positive and Full of Energy vibrations which will run through your body and divinity is showered onto you. Our meticulously curated plan ensure we take our groups up this difficult terrain with utmost caution and safety. Our team comprises of Certified Mountaineers who are capable of handling difficult situations professionally, we are equipped with safety and technical gear to ensure we can make this trek as much as risk free as possible. Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi/Chandigarh – Transfer to Shimla
The 1st Day of our Spiritual Adventure begins with your arrival at Delhi/Chandigarh. You will be met by our representative who will assist you to board the vehicle and bring you to Shimla. The British Heritage Town is a popular tourist destination. We check in into our hotel and head out to do some last minute shopping before we set out for the Mountains. After Dinner Overnight At Shimla Hotel.

Day 2: Shimla – Jaon (Drive) – Singhgaad (Trek)
We begin our journey post an early breakfast at Shimla and Leave for Jaon by road latest by 08:00 Am in the morning the drive will take us through the picturesque Villages of Kufri, Fagu & Narkanda before descending towards Satluj Valley and again climbing up towards Nirmad one of the Largest Villages in Himachal Pradesh. Soon we reach the starting point at Jaon. We de board and get ready for a short hike to our campsite at Singhgaad. The trail takes you through villages and apple orchards before entering the thick Deodar Trees Forest Canopy. This 3 Km Long trek may take upto 2 Hours. We reach the Campsite and Let the Nature Sink In. Have our Lunch and rest for the rest of the evening to acclimatize better, later after dinner overnight at Singhgaad Campsite.

Day 3: Singhgaad to Thachhdu
Wake up to the crisp chill air of the Himalayas with Songs of the birds. Have an early breakfast and begin the trek towards our next camp. We start as early as possible and trek through the deodar forest to reach Barati Nala where we halt for a while offer our prayers to the Gods for a blessed Journey and begin one of the toughest section of this trek along the Dandi Dhaar a near 70 Degree Incline which is almost 12 Km long and hence the name as its straight up like a standing stick. This will test the nerves of all who are climbing up this section. Traversing this may take upto 6 Hours of Headstrong and Determined climb to make it to Thachhdu (Derived from a Local Name for a Meadow “Thach”). The Surrounding here will exhilarate you and most of the tiredness will disappear with a hot cup of tea. Rest of the evening is at leisure. After Dinner overnight at Thachhdu.

Day 4: Thachhdu to Bhimdwar
An early start in the morning is must for these kind of trips. We begin early however today will not be as challenging as yesterday as we will be walking on gradual to steep ascends & Descends but not as long as the Dandi Dhaar. The trail is set amongst the Deodar and Spruce Pines and Soon we see The Silver Birch (Bhoj Patra) Trees and Himalayan Maple Trees marking the end of the tree line. We first will reach Kali Ghati a Valley Dedicated to Goddess Kali who is revered all across the Hill State. We Offer our prayers to the Goddess and Seek Blessings for a safe Journey. On a Clear Day one can see the Shiv Lingam from here. The trail now descends towards Bheem Talai before beginning our ascent towards are campsite at Bhimdwar. This will become our base for 2 Nights. We reach the camp and relax for the day to be prepared for the Darshan Next Day. After Dinner Overnight at Bhimdwar.

Day 5: Bhimdwar – Darshan – Bhimdwar
The day for which we walked along these difficult terrain has come. The Day we go to the 18,750 Feet High Shikar Kailash for offering our prayers to Lord Shiva and surrender to the ultimate divinity. The trail climbs up along the meadows with beautiful alpine flowers all around us we reach a significant point the Parvati Bagh believed to be a Garden Planted by Goddess Parvati who also is Wife of Lord Shiva. The region also has Bharama Kamal Flowers which are very rare Himalayan Flowers found mostly above 12000 to 13000 Feet AMSL. The flower is holy and is not to be harmed and only is used for offering to the Gods. Another couple of Km’s from here is Nain Sarovar an small alpine water body which is believed to have medicinal properties. The Final stretch of around 3 Km’s Takes us to the abode of Lord Shiva, known as Bheem Bahi this stretch is in higher altitudes and one can feel the lack of Oxygen in the air but this leads us to the Ultimate Sight, The Sight of the Shiva Lingam is Immense, the energy the positive vibes can be felt moving through one’s body. We offer our prayers to the Ultimate Power and Thank Lord Shiva for offering us this opportunity. We pray for everyone’s safe return before climbing back down to Bhimdwar. The View from the top includes a large part of Pir Panjal Ranges, Zanskar Ranges and Himalayan Ranges. We climb back down to the camp with abundance of gratitude and happiness. After dinner overnight at Bhimdwar Campsite.

Day 6: Bhimdwar to Thachhdu
Post our Darshan on the previous day we all feel elated and after a filling breakfast we break camp and trek back towards Thachhdu. The trail remains the same as we make our way back towards Bheem Talai and Climb towards Kali Ghati. Thanking the Goddess for the blessed journey we carry on towards our camps at Thachhdu. Day 7: Thachhdu to Jaon – Drive to Tangling Base Camp
First Leg of our Spiritual Adventure comes to an end with a nice breakfast in the lap of the nature. Enjoying these vistas one last time we trek down to the road head at Jaon. Board our transport and embark on the second leg of this Pilgrimage, following the same route we reach Rampur and driver towards Kinnaur Kailash Base Camp. The drive is along the Satluj river and passes through some spectacular landscapes including the famous road at Taranda Dhank. We reach the base by evening. The rest of the day is at Leisure. After Dinner overnight at Tangling Base Camp

Day 8: Tangling Base Camp to Ganesh Bagh
The second Pilgrimage begins with an early breakfast and we start making our way up the mountain. We walk till Shongtong & take the bridge and start our ascent. The trail climbs up from the forest canopy along with a stream and reach the campsite at Ganesh Bagh. Rest of the day is to rest and Acclimatization followed by dinner. Overnight at Ganesh Bagh Campsite.

Day 9: Ganesh Bagh – Kinnaur Kailash Darshan – Ganesh Bagh
Today is by far the best and most strenuous day as we start our climb the trail slowly gets steeper and steeper at points near vertical making the climb slow and rigorous. Traversing the boulder and loose rock sections we gradually gain altitude and reach the Holy Monolithic Rock Shiv Lingam at almost 16000 Feet AMSL. We offer our prayers to the Lord Shiva and Thank him for Blessing us with a safe passage. After spending sometime here we soak in the holy divine energy of this powerful holy place. We carefully begin our descent towards Ganesh Bagh Campsite. We reach the camp by evening, Post Dinner overnight at Ganesh Bagh Campsite.

Day 10: Ganesh Bagh – Tangling Base Camp
After breakfast we continue our descend towards the base camp. The trail is same we reach the Camp Site by Late Afternoon. Rest of the day is to relax and explore the surroundings. Later in the evening post dinner overnight at Tangling Base Camp

Day 11: Tangling Base Camp to Kalpa
After breakfast we break the camps and head towards Kalpa. After 10 Days on the mountains we reach a Homestay/Guest House and Freshen up we explore the village and visit the local temple. Later we reach our homestay and after dinner we relax for the rest of the day.

Day 12: Kalpa to Shimla
Today marks the last day of this Spiritual Adventure. We Have our breakfast and board the transport taking us back to Shimla. The drive is by the same route and we reach Shimla by Late Afternoon Early Evening. This Thrilling Adventure comes to an end with the drop at Shimla.

: This Trip is a Spiritual and Holy Pilgrimage therefore consumption on Non Vegetarian Food, Alcohol, Smoking and Any other means of Intoxication is Strictly Prohibited. The Sanctity of the place is to be maintained Littering is not allowed not even toffee wrappers to be thrown out in the nature. All the Non Bio-degradable waste to be kept with oneself in the bags and to be disposed of at a proper garbage disposal sites on the way back. By any means no plucking of flowers, teasing or feeding wild animals in the region to ensure animal’s as well as human’s safety. It is of utmost importance that the Trek Leader’s Instructions to be followed to the line for your and team’s safety as there are certain points during the trek which might prove fatal if not traversed under the expert supervision of the trek leader.
