Ladakh is a high altitude cold dessert in the Trans Himalayan Region of Western Himalayas. Ladakh which literally means “Land Of Passes” is surrounded by ranges from all sides, one gets to cross the Greater Himalayas, and see the Ladakh Ranges, Zanskar Ranges and Karakoram Ranges. Leh being the headquarters is a quaint town with a lot of army presence due to Ladakh’s proximity to Pakistan & China. Beyond Nubra Valley lies the Highest Battlefield in the World The Siachen Glacier, Our Jeep Safari is brief and takes you on an epic journey from Manali to Leh on the way we cross multiple high altitude passes Namely Rohtang, Baralacha, Upsi La, Lachungla, Taglangla and finally Leh, from here we will set on excursions to Khardungla Pass which also is the highest motorable road in the world and latter we will visit the Might Pangong Tso Lake and head back to Leh Via Changla Pass, the trip ends with drop at Leh..

Detailed Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Manali
Today you will arrive in Manali, check in to your hotel, the day is at leisure and you are free to roam about in Manali, one can check out some cool café’s in Old Manali which are popular with backpackers and international tourists. After Dinner Overnight at Manali Hotel.

Day 2: Manali to Jispa (136 Kms – 5 to 6 Hours)
After breakfast we board our transport and head for our journey towards Leh, today will mark crossing the famous Atal Tunnel the Longest Tunnel over 10000 Feet in the World an Engineering Marvel. Entering Lahaul Valley is an experience in its own, the landscape changes drastically as we drive along the Chandra River till Tandi where the Confluence of Chandra and Bhaga River makes give birth to Chandrabhaga River or Chenab as it Famously is known. From here we will drive along the Bhaga river we cross The HQ for Lahaul Keylong to reach Our halt for the night at Jispa which is towards the end of the valley, Overnight at Camp Site in Jispa.

Day 3: Jispa to Leh (336 Kms – 10 to 12 Hours)
We start early today as the journey ahead is long and involves crossing multiple high altitude passes, after an early breakfast and we start our journey , first we cross Baralacha Pass and head into the Trans Himalayan Region beyond this the vegetation will diminish we cross into Ladakh at Sarchu and soon we find ourselves climbing up the dizzingGata Loops before reaching Naki La Pass and Then Descending again after Pang and we head towards Mori Planes the endless vast plains are a major sight in this trip they seems to be never ending, before we hit the climb towards 2nd Highest Mountain pass Taglang La and descend towards Leh. We reach Leh by early evening and relax to let our bodies acclimatize to this High Altitude Cold Dessert Town. After Dinner Overnight at Leh.

Day 4: Leh Local Sightseeing
So that you can acclimatize we will keep a short excursion today and its recommended that you take ample rest. We Visit the Monasteries and Other Monuments in the region like Thicksey Monastery, Leh Palace, Shey Palace and the Leh Mall Road. Explore the market and do some last minute shopping before heading back to the Hotel. Its important to keep yourself hydrated and we avoid any strenuous work to ensure we are well acclimatized.

Day 5: Leh – Nubra Valley (160 Kms – 5 to 6 Hours)
After breakfast we will head up towards Khardung La Pass (18,380 Feet) the highest motorable road in the world, after crossing the pass we will descend towards the Nubra Valley famous for its Bactrian (Double Hump) Camels and Sand Dunes is a beautiful valley which also shares borders with Pakistan one can see the Karakoram Ranges here, After Visiting the Diskit Monastery we reach our stay at Hunder. Rest of the evening is at Leisure. Post Dinner Overnight stay at Nubra Valley

Day 6: Nubra Valley – Pangong Tso (275 Kms – 7 Hours to 8 Hours)
Today we will drive from Nubra valley to Pangong Lake via Shayok valley. This newly opened route along the Shayok River is one of the most fascinating drives in Ladakh. The serenity and tranquility of Pangong Lake will mesmerize you in every aspect. Enjoy a nice walk along the Lake in the evening. Overnight Camp/Guest House at Pangong/Tangste.

Day 7: Pangong Tso – Chang La – Leh
Today we start easy after breakfast we head back towards Leh, the Journey starts along the Valley Floor and we ascend towards the Chang La Pass, the approach to the pass is picturesque and takes you to an altitude of over 16000 Feet, we halt as the pass for a while and descend towards Leh, Reach Leh Evening is at Leisure, Overnight at Leh.

Day 8: Departure From Leh
After breakfast we check out from the Hotel and a Cab will drop you at the Leh Airport as per your Flight Schedule. This fantastic Trip to Leh Comes to an end with Drop at The Leh Airport.
